SHOPPING CENTRE SMOKE CONTROL

South Africa's building regulations emphasis smoke control for safety reasons. A well-designed smoke control system should always provide for a smoke-free escape to allow for the minimum risk of smoke inhalation, injury or death.

Curvent International has considerable experience in the design and implementation of smoke control systems in Shopping Centres and Car Parks across South Africa

With over 100,000 people in one day visiting some of the largest Shopping Centres, the burden of responsibility carried by the Smoke Control Design Team is incredible.

The challenge is to make sure the visitors are protected and can be evacuated should a fire break out. A Shopping Centres usually incorporate a central atrium or have multistoreys which increase the design challenge.

Curvent International offers the following services:

Project designs of: Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilation Systems (SHEVS) Smoke containment systems

We also specialise in: Project management Supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of systems, including all necessary controls

Curvent International's Smoke Control systems are suited for both commercial and industrial buildings.
