Another successful completion of a natural smoke ventilation project at Motus, Warehouse Nelspruit. 

Scope of work: 
Twenty-Two (22) Fire-X 1620H EN12101 certified electro mechanical system, activated by Two (2) 24V single phase OS2 Control panels complete with a 72-hour battery back-up system.

 

This smoke ventilation system is also equipped with a fail-safe fusible link back up system that will release and open the spring-loaded louvre blades in case of a fire.

The smoke ventilation system is triggered by a signal from the smoke detection system when smoke is detected in the building.
