Curvent is proud to announce the successful completion of the University of Pretoria Senate Hall Refurbishment HVAC Project — a landmark upgrade for one of South Africa's most prestigious academic institutions.

Engineering Built for the Next 20 Years

At the heart of the refurbishment is a new, custom-engineered TROX Hybrid Air Handling Unit, designed and built from the ground up specifically for the Senate Hall's requirements. Integrated with Dunham-Bush VRF condensers, the system delivers a highly energy-efficient HVAC solution that combines precise environmental control with genuine long-term performance.

The unit incorporates variable fresh air handling and CO2 monitoring, ensuring optimal indoor air quality alongside consistent, reliable comfort. Every element of the design was chosen with longevity in mind — this system is built to serve the Senate Hall for the next 20 years.
