One Thousand Six Hundred and Fifty Four (1654) m² of Curvent Superflow Fixed and Continuous louvres

November 2021

Curvent completed this prestigious façade screening louvre project at JOH-1 Data Centre based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The Curvent Team designed, supplied and installed a total of 1654m² of Curvent Superflow Fixed and Continuous louvres for this project.

The removable louvre blades required a total of 82 penetration holes ranging from 150mm diameter to up to 1 000mm diameter that allowed for ventilation openings as well as services and cable trays. This louvre system was manufactured in Zincalume sheet metal material, powder coated to the architect’s specified RAL colour.

The Façade units were manufactured as cassette units to ensure all louvres are removable when servicing or replacing generators when needed. The Louvres dimensions ranged from 1000mm to 4450mm heights and from 2000mm to 114000mm wide.
